Our Story
In 1971, a group of skilled and experienced construction professionals came together to form Progressive Contractors, Inc. Their vision was straightforward: to leverage innovative construction technologies to deliver quality projects on time while providing an exceptional customer experience. From those early days, contracts followed, and as they say, the rest is history.
Although the company’s name and ownership have evolved over the years, the core values established at the start remain unchanged. Today, as a part of C. S. McCrossan, PCiRoads continues to build every day and not just in the obvious ways. Beyond highways, bridges, and specialty projects, we take pride in building lasting solutions, fostering strong customer partnerships, and maintaining a stellar reputation in this demanding industry. PCiRoads is a proven performer, ready to embrace new challenges and deliver excellence on every project.
Charles Stewart (C. S.) McCrossan found our company in 1956 with the idea that “A man is only as good as his word”. Honesty, integrity, commitment, these tenets live on in his legacy today as we dedicate ourselves and our company to providing the highest quality infrastructure facilities the industry has to offer with opportunity for all to excel as they choose to build the future with us.
